State Police Solve String of Armed Robberies From 2017

 During the months of January and February 2017, State Police at Middletown investigated a series of armed robberies at a Mobil Gas station on Bloomingburg Rd in the Town of Wallkill.  The gas station was held up three times at gunpoint with the perpetrators making off with cash and cigarettes.  Early investigative efforts produced no suspects.  Investigators at the Middletown barracks continued to work the cases which has resulted in the closure of all three cases by arrest.  On Tuesday, October 2, 2018, State Police arrested Robert Krause, age 30 of Middletown, NY and Joseph Orlowski, age 31 of Bloomingburg, NY.

Orlowsky was charged with three counts of Robbery 1st Degree, Grand Larceny 4th Degree, felonies,  and three counts of Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor.  Krause was charged with one count each of Robbery 1st Degree, Grand Larceny 4th Degree, and Petit Larceny.  Both were arraigned in the Town of Wallkill Court and remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
