Delgado for Congress announces a commitment to hold a Town Hall in all 11 counties of NY-19 before the Election
KINGSTON – Today, Delgado for Congress announced a commitment to hold a public town hall in each of the eleven counties in New York’s 19th congressional district between now and Election Day. The first town hall will take place this Friday, September 7th at 7:30 p.m. at Gallagher’s Banquet Hall in Cairo.
“I am committed to putting in the hard work and engaging with people in all eleven counties of NY-19. Unlike my opponent John Faso who has not yet held a public town hall and says “they’re not productive,” I see face-to-face engagement at town halls and other public events as a requirement for representing the people of our district. Our representatives should never use the size of our district as an excuse for not getting out, showing up and listening to the people here,” said Delgado.
These events will be announced ahead of time, open to the public, free of charge and not restricted by tickets or pre-registration.
