Peoria – Louise C. Simmons, 65, of Peoria passed away on August 8, 2018, at her home.
Louise was born on January 2, 1953, in Connecticut. She married John Simmons, Sr. on June 29, 1974, in New York. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2017, in Peoria
Surviving is her stepchildren, John (Thi) Simmons, Jr of Peoria, Debbie Metier of Dublin, GA, Roberta (Jim) Fitzpatrick of Amenia, NY, Patrick Simmons of Poughkeepsie, NY, and Douglas Simmons of NC; twelve grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Louise worked most of her life in the Tobacco and Dairy Farms in New York and Connecticut.
Louise loved to read, read and read, also she liked to sit and crochet.
Louise wishes were to be cremated and to be returned to upstate New York where she lived and worked.
