Donald George Blodgett
Sharon- Donald George Blodgett age 17 of Gay Steet, died July 29, 2018, because of an auto accident. He was the son of Donald And Lisa Blodgett. Dg was born September 18, 2000. Dg attended 4 years at Housatonic Valley Regional High School. He worked at the Sharon Farm Market and the White Hart to pursue his dream of becoming a chef. He is survived by his Mother Lisa and Father Donnie along with his siblings Shannon Blodgett, of Lime Rock , Lori Fredenberg and her husband Kenny of East Canaan, and Dustin Farnham of Sheffield MA. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Donald and Carol Albig of Branford CT and Elsa and Cliff Wohlfert of Cannan CT.He is predeceased by Paternal Grandmother Rita Blodgett his Nanny and his aunts Donna Blodgett, Jill McKearney and Amy Carol and her husband Glen and an Uncle Joseph Blodgett of Torrington CT. Survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends of all who loved him very much. Dg was an avid sports enthusiast, a junior firefighter member in Sharon, and had passed the EMR course for the ambulance squad. Dg will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
A Memorial service will be held at the Sharon Congregational Church on Sunday, August 5th at 2:00 in the afternoon. A celebration of life with casual attire for family and friends will immediately follow for anyone that wants to attend. Memorial contributions may be made either to the Sharon Fire Department or the Sharon Ambulance Squad.
