NY-19 Democratic Nominee Antonio Delgado Raises Over $800K in Q2

Today, the Delgado for Congress campaign announced it raised more than $800,000 in the second quarter of 2018, and has over $660,000 cash on hand. Delgado won the NY-19 Democratic nomination four days before the Q2 fundraising deadline. This fundraising number exceeds expectations and starts Delgado’s general election run with a significant war chest after a hard-fought, seven-way Democratic Primary.

“I am inspired by the level of enthusiasm our campaign has seen in all parts of this region before and after our primary victory,” said Delgado. “This fundraising success is a reflection of the energy that will carry us to victory in November and the hard work we are putting in every day to build support. Growing up in a working class Schenectady family, I was raised with the upstate New York values of working twice as hard and taking nothing for granted. Those are the values that motivated me to run and have driven our campaign, and I look forward to bringing those same values to the halls of Congress to work for the people of the 19th District.”
