Two Brooklyn men arrested for felony drug possession following traffic stop

PRESS RELEASE

Milan, New York – On July 1, 2018, the New York State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested Tony Wu, age 25, and Richard Huang, age 20, of Brooklyn, NY, for Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 1st degree, a class C felony.

On July 1, 2018, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Troopers conducted a vehicle and traffic stop on a 2006 Toyota Matrix on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Milan for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  While interviewing the occupants, Troopers detected the odor of marijuana.  Investigation discovered over 25 pounds of marijuana.

Wu and Huang were arraigned before the town of Milan Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.  Their next scheduled appearance before the Milan Court is scheduled for July 5, 2018, at 10:30 a.m.
