Man arrested after punching the ground and hitting his head on the ground

On June 28th 2018 at approximately 7:15 PM, Officers from the Town of East Fishkill Police Department were dispatched to an address on Woodcrest Drive for the report of a male subject who was walking around the complainant’s driveway, punching the ground and hitting his head on the ground. Officers immediately responded to the area and received updated information that the male had fled the area in a white SUV. Shortly after, the vehicle in question was located on Carpenter Road by Police Officer Justino Bermudez. Through investigation, the subject in question, Brian J. Flandreau, age 39, from Carmel, was determined to be the individual who had been committing these acts and was found to have a suspended New York State Driver’s License. Upon being taken into custody, Officer Bermudez located a clear plastic ziploc bag containing a crystal-like substance, that field tested positive for the presence of Crystal Methamphetamine. Also located, was a tan powdery substance that field tested positive for the presence of Heroin. Mr. Flandreau was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, Criminally Possessing a Hypodermic Instrument and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd. He was arraigned by the Honorable Judge Brian Rudner and was remanded to Dutchess County Jail, with no bail, pending a future court date.
