State Police remove five impaired motorists from the road

On June 26, 2018, State Police Hamptonburg arrested Thomas Kerdniyom, 23 of Centereach, NY for DWAI Drugs, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree (misdemeanor) and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. He was traveling on State Route 980T in the city of Newburgh when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by drugs and was also in possession of marijuana and methamphetamines, he was subsequently arrested.
On June 26, 2018, State Police Haverstraw arrested Frank Perez, 33 of West Haverstraw, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 202 in the town of Haverstraw when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
On June 26, 2018, State Police Monroe arrested Kevin Schmitz, 52 of Monroe, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 17 in the town of Monroe when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
On June 27, 2018, State Police Monroe arrested Alexander Zemski, 24 of Centereach, NY for DWAI Drugs, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree (felony) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.(misdemeanor) He was traveling on State Route 17 in the town of Blooming Grove when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by drugs and was also in possession of cocaine and heroin, he was subsequently arrested.
On June 27, 2018, State Police Catskill arrested Douglas Lynch, 44 of Catskill, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 23 in the town of Catskill when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
