“This ruling is an assault on the organized labor movement and our very values as New Yorkers. For decades, conservatives have sought to weaken the powers of unions, because they know that a strong organized labor movement is the foundation of our Middle Class. I was proud to serve as President of my family’s union-manufacturing company, because I know that New Yorkers deserve quality jobs with fair wages and good benefits. I will continue to stand up for my brothers and sisters in labor, and will fight to have New York State government lead the nation in protecting the rights of our workers and unions.”
