Ruth Jean Waldron Cooper

Born February 14, 1927. Took flight on June 25, 2018.

As you dance among the stars, dear RJ, your family and friends will hold your stories, your wisdom, and your life in our hearts. Love and laughter always. You will be missed.

While Ruth grew up and attended schools in the Pine Plains, New York area, she lived and worked in NYC for the airline industry (27 wonderful years). She married Arthur Cooper in 1976. Retiring (Aer Lingus and NYPD) initially in California, they would later relocate to Florida. RJ moved to New Paltz, NY in 2010.

Predeceased by her husband Arthur (1995); siblings George Waldron, Dorothy Manis, Winifred Denhard, Victoria Simone and Jack Waldron; and niece Gretchen Williams. She is survived by step-daughter Diane Cooper Clark; nephews Phil Simone and Kevin Simone; niece Sandy Simone Hess; and numerous family and friends.

There will be no visitation or service.
