Obituary, Michael V. Lasher

 

Lagrange– Michael V. Lasher, 35, entered into rest on June 4, 2018.

He was born in Poughkeepsie on February 8, 1983, to Brenda A. Perry of Pleasant Valley.

Michael was currently employed by Henne Property Maintenance and previously at Mavis Discount Tire.

Mr. Lasher enjoyed playing horseshoes, darts, camping, motorcycle riding, stock car racing with his friend, Ray Tarantino, and hanging out with friends and family.

Survivors include his daughter, Julia R. Lasher; sister, Kimberly M. Wood and husband, Delvin, of Pleasant Valley; brother, Richard L. Lasher Jr. and wife, Kristina, of Hyde Park; grandmother, Virginia R. Perry of Poughkeepsie; uncle William H. Perry of Pine Plains, who was a father figure for many years, and several other aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Michael was predeceased by his brother, John Oles Lasher in 1978; and grandfather, James E. Perry in 1989.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.

Memorial calling hours for him, and his uncle and aunt, John and Kelly Perry, will be from 10 am to 1 pm on Saturday, June 16th at the Reach out Church, 241 Crum Elbow Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538. (www.reachoutchurch.com)

A memorial service for the three of them will follow at 1 pm at the church with Pastor Carl Forster officiating.

Burial of his ashes will be private and at the convenience of the family.
