Obituary, Angelina B. Gardner

 

Angelina B. Gardner was called to Heaven on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at the age of 90.

A resident of Mahwah, NJ, Angie was born in Pleasantville, NY on July 19, 1927, and was the daughter of Frank and Maria (Tavano) Bosco.  She graduated from Pleasantville High School in1946 and went on to graduate from St. Vincent School of Nursing as a registered nurse.  She worked at St. Agnes Hospital in White Plains and later for Dr. Donald Richie in Croton Falls, NY.

Angie predeceased her first husband, James Joseph Dinnegan, who passed away in 1987.  She is survived by her present husband, Lawrence A. Gardner of Mahwah, NJ.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister Anna Robertson and husband, Joseph, of Southport, NC; her sister-in-law Florence Bosco of Pawling, NY; nieces and nephews, Maryann McManus and husband Steven, Catherine Les and husband Albin, Teresa Robertson-Butt and husband Bruce, Frank Bosco and wife Judy, Diane Ramsey; cousins Nancy Bruno and husband Michael; and many more cousins, great-nieces & nephews, and great-great nieces & nephews.

Angie is also predeceased by her brother, Gennaro Bosco.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John’s Church, 39 East Main Street, Pawling, NY on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 10 AM.  Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorn, NY.
