Obituary, Edna May (Vose) Dicker

Verbank – Edna May (Vose) Dicker of Verbank, NY passed away on June 4, 2018, at West Hills Continuing Care in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. Born May 10, 1926, in Clinton Hollow, NY. She was the daughter of the late Owen and Ruth Vose. She is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Henry Dicker, her five children, Lorraine (Domenic), David (Melissa), Duane, Wendy and Noreen (Jim), 13 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild, a brother and his wife Owen and Janice Vose, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Edna worked at the Verbank Post Office for many years, first as a clerk, and then as Postmaster, retiring in May 1988. She was an active member of the Verbank United Methodist Church, the Historical Society, and several Women’s Groups through the years.

She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the Verbank United Methodist Church, burial will follow. Refreshments will be served in the Parish Hall immediately following burial service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Verbank Methodist Church, 9 N Clove Road, Verbank, NY 12545, in her memory.
