Andrew Winstel, 32 of Millbrook was arrested for threatening to kill a person under an order of protection, according to the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department.
Winstel faces a charge of first-degree criminal contempt, a felony.
Winstel to turn himself into police and was arraigned in Town of Poughkeepsie Court and placed in Dutchess County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
He will appear back in court at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
