Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

On June 1, 2018, New York State Police at Wurtsboro arrested 38-year-old Robert Radie of Rock Hill, NY for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Mr. Radie was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a traffic offense on Main Street, village of Bloomingburg.  During interview of the occupants, the Troopers detected the odor of marijuana emanating from within the vehicle.  A search of the vehicle and occupants was conducted revealing Mr. Radie was possession of cocaine.  stances.  A search was conducted revealing he was in possession of several amphetamine pills.  Radie was taken into custody and processed at SP Wurtsboro for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree.  Mr. Radie was released is scheduled to appear in the town of Mamakating court on a later date.
