State Police investigate fatal crash in Lagrange

Lagrange, New York – On June 1, 2018, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks investigated a fatal motor vehicle crash in the town of Lagrange involving one vehicle.

Initial investigation suggests at approximately 11:30 a.m., on Freedom Road, Jennifer Dickson, age 18, of Pleasant Valley, was southbound when she lost control of her 2017 Honda Fit.  Dickson’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole.  She was transported to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

The State Police were assisted on scene by Lagrange Fire and EMS, and Precision Auto Body.
