Driver arrested for DWI

On May 29, 2018, New York State Police at Wurtsboro arrested 35-year-old Ronald A. Warner of Monticello, NY for Driving While Intoxicated.
Warner was operating a vehicle on Sturgis Road in the village of Monticello when he was stopped for a traffic offense. A DMV inquiry on Warner revealed he did not possess a driver’s license. While the Trooper was interviewing Warner, the odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected emanating from his breath. He failed a sobriety test and was taken into custody. Warner was processed for DWI and released to a third party. Mr. Warner is scheduled to appear in the village of Monticello court on a later date.
