Wurtsboro man arrested for charges stemming from a domestic incident

On May 27th, 2018, New York State Police at Wurtsboro charged Justin J. Gallo, 30, of Wurtsboro, NY with Reckless Endangerment, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd, Unlawfully Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle 3rd and Reckless Driving.

Troopers responded to a domestic incident on March 18th, 2018 during which Gallo engaged the victim in a physical altercation, and fled the scene when Troopers responded. He subsequently led Troopers on a pursuit, which was called to an end due to safety concerns, and an arrest warrant was issued.

On  May 27th, 2018, information was obtained regarding Gallo’s location and he was subsequently arrested for charges stemming from the initial complaint. He was processed at SP Wurtsboro, arraigned before the town of Mamakating Court, and remanded to Sullivan County Jail.
