Driver arrested for DWI

On May 9, 2018, New York State Police at Liberty arrested 64-year-old John F. Wild of Roscoe, NY for Driving While Intoxicated.
Wild was operating a vehicle on Mueller Road in the town of Cochecton when he was stopped for a traffic offense. While being interviewed by the Trooper, the odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected on Mr. Wild breath. He failed a sobriety test and was taken into custody. Mr. Wild was transported to the State Police Barracks in Liberty where he refused to provide a breath sample. He was processed for DWI and released to a third party. Mr. Wild is scheduled to appear in the town of Cochecton Court at a later date.
