New Castle, New York – The New York State Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on the Taconic State Parkway near Exit 8 (Route 100/Route 133) in the town of New Castle involving a passenger vehicle and motorcycle, on April 28, 2018, at approximately 7:06 p.m.

Initial investigation suggests a 2006 Mercury sedan was southbound on the Taconic State Parkway making a lane change and was struck on the rear driver’s side by a 2017 Aprilia motorcycle.  The motorcycle operated by Scott V.
