Monticello Man Arrested for Felony DWAI Drugs

State Police in Liberty arrested Thomas Parlapiano of Monticello for felony DWAI Drugs. After effecting a vehicle and traffic stop, Trooper Williams determined that the driver was impaired. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of a quantity of marijuana as well as several prescription medications. Parlapiano was charged with DWAI Drugs, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and for having a controlled substance not in its original container. Parlapiano was arraigned in the Town of Thompson Court and remanded to Sullivan County Jail on $5000 bail.
