Wanted Westchester Man Caught in Cold Spring Driving With a Suspended License

Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley, Jr. reports the arrest of a wanted Pleasantville man for driving, while his privilege to drive was suspended, in Cold Spring.

On April 14, 2018, at approximately 2:53 p.m., while on patrol on Route 9D in the Town of Philipstown, Deputy Sheriff Benjamin Levine observed a vehicle with a brake light out. Deputy Levine stopped the car, and a computer check revealed the driver, Andrew A. Mikhail, age 24, of Pleasantville, NY had his license suspended by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. An investigation also revealed that the license plate affixed to the vehicle did not belong to the car he was driving, and that Mr. Mikhail had an active arrest warrant, issued by the Town of Mount Pleasant Justice Court, for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree.

Deputy Levine arrested Mr. Mikhail, impounded the car he was driving and charged him with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree, a misdemeanor, and other traffic violations. Mr. Mikhail was turned over to police officers from the Mount Pleasant Police Department.
