Six motorists arrested for Driving While Impaired

On April 17, 2018, State Police Wurtsboro arrested Edward Abbott, 54 of Wurtsboro, NY for DWI. He was observed to be sleeping in his vehicle on Mamakating Road. Troopers conducted a welfare check on the operator of the vehicle. The vehicle was observed to running with the keys in the ignition and the operator was behind the wheel. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
On April 17, 2018, State Police Haverstraw arrested Masud Rahman, 53 of Woodside, NY for DWI. He was traveling on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in the town of Clarkstown when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
On April 17, 2018, State Police Coxsackie arrested Ryan Sanchez, 20 of Catskill, NY for DWI. Troopers responded to a disturbance call on High Hill Road in the town of Coxsackie. Ryan Sanchez called 911 to report a physical disturbance. Troopers arrived and spoke with Sanchez who was operating his vehicle. Upon speaking with him, troopers observed him to be impaired by alcohol and he was subsequently arrested.
On April 17, 2018, State Police Kingston arrested Edwin Gerlack, 58 of Kingston, NY for DWI. He was traveling on Washington Avenue in the town of Ulster when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
On April 18, 2018, State Police Kingston arrested Dina Aduddell, 52 of Rome, NY for DWI. She was traveling on Interstate 87 in the town of Ulster when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
On April 18, 2018, State Police Liberty arrested Zachary McCarthy, 23 of Bethel, NY for DWAI Drugs. He was traveling on State Route 55 in the town of Liberty when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by drugs and was subsequently arrested.
