Traffic Stop leads to drug arrests

On April 16, 2018, Troopers from SP Liberty stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction on Broadway in the Village of Monticello.
The driver, 35 yr old Angela M. Moeller of Monticello, was found to be in possession of morphine and clonazepam. The passenger, 61 yr old George L. Saulsberry of Thompson was found to be in possession of crack cocaine, heroin and Suboxone.
Moeller was arrested for two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7thand Saulsberry was arrested for four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th. Both were given Appearance Tickets to appear in the Village of Monticello Court at a later date.
