The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of

ARREST: Members of the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of Tyler B. Hilsenbeck, 37, of Stone Ridge. Mr. Hilsenbeck was charged with the misdemeanor of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree.

On April 8, 2018, at approximately 10:15 PM, a sheriff’s K-9 unit stopped a vehicle operated by Mr. Hilsenbeck on Clinton Avenue in the City of Kingston for a traffic infraction.  An investigation revealed Mr. Hilsenbeck was in possession of a quantity of methadone.

Mr. Hilsenbeck was released with an appearance ticket to appear in the City of Kingston Court at a later date.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by the City of Kingston Police Department.

 

ARREST: Members of the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of Jason M. Wallace, 25, of Ellenville. Mr. Wallace was charged with the felonies of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence, in addition to the misdemeanor Obstructing Governmental Administration in the Second Degree.

On April 7, 2018, at approximately 10:16 PM a uniformed deputy attempted to stop Mr. Wallace on Center Street in the Village of Ellenville. Mr. Wallace fled on foot and subsequently discarded a crack pipe while fleeing. Mr. Wallace was located and found to be in possession of three counterfeit twenty dollar bills.

Mr. Wallace was arraigned in the Town of Rochester Justice Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secured bond to reappear on a later date.

 

ARREST: Members of the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of William E. Cromwell, 34, of Bloomingburg for the misdemeanor of Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.

On April 7, 2018, at approximately 4:53 PM deputies stopped a motor vehicle on Burlingham Road in the Town of Shawangunk for vehicle and traffic violations. An investigation revealed Mr. Cromwell was operating the vehicle while under the influence of drugs.

Mr. Cromwell was released with an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Shawangunk Court at a later date.
