Helen Sue Smith Kennedy (1935 – 2017) Helen Sue Smith Kennedy died peacefully at her home in Sleepy Hollow, NY on December 9, 2017, following a lengthy illness. She was 82 and is survived by her husband Lee of 52 years. Additionally, Sue is survived by their son, Smith, his wife Kelli and grandsons, Garrett and Duncan; and their son, Brook, his wife Anna and granddaughters, Ava and Lily. Sue was the daughter of Dr. And Mrs. Delbert G. Smith of Oklahoma City who preceded her in death. Sue graduated from Randolph Macon College in 1956. She was a lifelong member of the Junior League of New York. Sue spent her life in New York City, San Francisco, London, Millbrook and Sleepy Hollow, NY and spent many summers in Colorado, Vermont, and Sorrento ME. She will be remembered for her fondness of fine food and wine, especially French wine, and her love of her three Jack Russell terriers: Jack Trouble, Doodles, and Miss Missy. A memorial service will be held in Oklahoma City at Hahn Cook Funeral Home, Saturday, April 14, at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment prior to the service will be private.
