Five motorists arrested for driving while impaired

On April 4, 2018, State Police Middletown arrested Daniel Burgaleta, 26 of Greenwood Lake, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 17 in the town of Wallkill when he was involved in a motor vehicle crash. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
On April 5, 2018, State Police Middletown arrested Walter Welch, 25 of Milford, PA for DWAI Drugs. He was traveling on State Route 211 in the town of Wallkill when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by drugs and was subsequently arrested.
On April 5, 2018, State Police Monroe arrested Allyson Osborne, 28 of Middletown, NY for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 17 in the town of Monroe when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
On April 5, 2018, State Police Kingston arrested Jay Shultis, 26 of Lake Katrine, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 28 in the town of Shandaken when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
On April 5, 2018, State Police Liberty arrested Anastasia Latassa, 22 of Chester, NY for DWI. She was traveling on Spring Street in the village of Monticello when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
