Hillsdale man arrested for sexual conduct against a child in Dover

Dover, New York – On February 26, 2018, the New York State Police in conjunction with Investigators from the Dutchess County Child Advocacy Center arrested Jairon Gregorio Mendez, age 19, of Hillsdale, NY, for a Course of Sexual Conduct with a Child in the 1stdegree, a class B felony.
An investigation initiated as a result of a law enforcement referral to the New York State Central Registry for Child Abuse, determined Jairon Gregorio Mendez did engage in a course of sexual conduct with a child.
Gregorio Mendez was arraigned before the town of Amenia Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond. Gregorio Mendez is scheduled to appear before the Dover Court at a later date and time.
