Harry J. Enlgish, of Patterson, NY, died peacefully on Friday March 20, 2015 at North Westchester Restorative. He was 83 years old.
Harry was born on April 23, 1931 in White Plains, NY, son to the late Bruce and Jane (Brady) English. He honorably served in the US Navy.
On October 16, 1965 Harry married Janet Mahoney. Together they moved to Patterson, NY. Mr. English was a selector for Grand Union Warehouse for 30 years before retiring in 1994.
Mr. English could create any bird song by whistling, he enjoyed to sing and always told terrible jokes to his nieces and nephews.
Harry is survived by his wife Janet and several brother and sister- in-laws and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Services for Harry will be held on Wednesday at, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster at 10 am with interment to follow at Maple Avenue Cemetery, Patterson, NY. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4pm-8pm.
