Obituary, Patricia Ann “Galm” Boyles

Pine Plains, NY – Patricia Ann “Galm” Boyles, 80, of Pine Plains, NY was called home to our Lord on Saturday, February 24, 2018.

Born January 25, 1938, to Louis and Rita Galm, in Bronx, NY, to all who knew her, she was a unique and caring individual who touched the lives of many.

On July 13, 1957, she married the love of her life John Norman Boyles at the Church of Immaculate Conception in Amenia, NY. They raised five loving children: Lorraine S. Olay (Christopher), John N. Boyles, Jr. (Mary Orlandi), James F. Boyles (Julie Lutz), Patrick L. Boyles, and Noreen A. Hoysradt. She also leaves behind a brother, Louis Galm (Mary Ann) of Pine Plains, NY. She was loved by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

One of her passions was working with children which she did for over 20 years in the Pine Plains Central School District. She was often found at her sewing machine, along with crocheting and playing cards. She loved the holidays and made them extra special with her decorating and baking talents.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 28th from 5 to 8 PM at 7749 South Main St., Pine Plains, NY.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 1st at St. Anthony’ s Church in Pine Plains, NY at 10 AM. . .

Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains, NY.
