Julia Gnerre of Patterson Earns Scholarship to Alvernia University

READING, PA (02/19/2018)– Hard work in high school has paid off for college-bound seniors. Julia Gnerre, of Patterson, N.Y., has been granted the Veronica Founder’s Scholarship to study Forensic Science at Alvernia University in the fall. Gnerre is currently a senior at Carmel High School.

To be awarded this $16,000 scholarship, the recipient must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and minimum SAT score* of 980 old/1060 new (21 ACT). * “Old” SAT scores are calculated using combined Critical Reading and Math sections. “New” SAT Scores are based on the Math and Evidence-Based Reading & Writing sections. Students are eligible for only one merit scholarship.
