North East man arrested for domestic violence

North East, New York – On February 14, 2018, the New York State Police from the Dover Plains barracks arrested Eric C. Miles, age 32, of North East, for two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Assault in the 3rd degree, all class A misdemeanors.
On February 14, 2018, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Troopers responded to Scenic View Road in the town of North East for a domestic dispute. An investigation found Miles struck the victim multiple times with two children present.
Miles was arraigned before the town of North East Court and released on his own recognizance with an order of protection issued in favor of the victim.
