New Lebanon, New York – On February 9, 2018, the New York State Police from the New Lebanon barracks assisted a New Lebanon resident with a medical emergency.

On February 9, 2018, Troopers responded to Adams Crossing Road in the town of New Lebanon for a report of a cardiac arrest.  Troopers found the victim unconscious and not breathing.  An automated external defibrillator (AED) was utilized, and then cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was performed for over ten minutes prior to the arrival of emergency medical services.

Chatham Rescue transported the victim to Albany Medical Center who is now in stable condition.
