Ghent, New York – On February 9, 2018, the New York State Police from the Livingston barracks arrested Timothy A. Crawford, age 27, of Chatham, NY, for Driving While Intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor.

On February 9, 2018, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a 2018 Ford Fusion on Konig Road in the town of Ghent, for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  The operator of the vehicle, later identified as Crawford stopped his vehicle and fled on foot.  Crawford was found hiding in a nearby pond and was taken into custody without further incident.  It was determined Crawford was under the influence of alcohol and he was subsequently arrested.

Crawford was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Ghent Court on March 12, 2018, at 6:00 p.m.
