Obituary, James H. VanAnden

James H. VanAnden, 71, a life-time resident of Stormville and Poughquag, NY, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Hospital, Poughkeepsie, surrounded by his family.
Born in Poughkeepsie on February 27, 1946 to Clarence and Kathryn (Hunt) VanAnden, he and his father had a dairy farm in Stormville for many years, and was later a truck driver for J & J Logging in Wingdale, NY.
He loved farming and dirt track racing.
He is survived by his five sons, James J. and his wife, Candace, of Amenia, Jeffrey of Poughquag, Jessie and his wife, Kathy, of Amenia, Joel of Poughquag, and Jaron and his fiance, Amanda, of Wappingers Falls; and his four grandchildren, Gabrielle, Jennifer, Brandon, and Caroline.
A memorial service will be at a future date, at the convenience of the family.
