Gloversville woman arrested for felony drug possession

PRESS RELEASE

 

Pleasant Valley, New York – On January 3, 2018, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Princess C. Armstrong, age 28, of Gloversville, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree, a class D felony, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, violation.

Troopers stopped the vehicle Armstrong was traveling in on January 3, 2018, at approximately 12:55 a.m. for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  The investigation conducted at the stop discovered Armstrong was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and approximately 25.2 grams of suboxone.

Armstrong was arraigned before the town of Pleasant Valley Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.  Armstrong is next scheduled to appear before the court on January 22, 2018, at 5:30 p.m.
