Dover man arrested for illegal possession of a handgun during domestic dispute

Dover, New York – On January 7, 2018, the New York State Police from the Dover Plains barracks arrested Larry L. May, age 34, of Dover, for Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd degree, a class C felony.

Troopers responded to a domestic dispute on Foxwell Terrace in the town of Dover on January 7, 2018.  Investigation of the incident found May was in possession of an illegal loaded handgun.

May was arraigned before the town of Dover Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $15,000 bond.  May is next scheduled to appear at the town of Dover Court on February 5, 2018, at 4:00 p.m.
