State Police investigate fatal motor vehicle crash on the Taconic State Parkway in East Fishkill

East Fishkill, New York – On December 24, 2017 the New York State Police from the Stormville barracks investigated a single vehicle fatal motor vehicle crash.
On December 24, 2017, at approximately 2:25 a.m. while traveling northbound on the Taconic State Parkway in the area of Exit 35, Miller Hill Road, the victim’s vehicle was possibly struck by a falling tree. The vehicle the left the roadway and overturned.
Update: The operator, Zafar Rustsmor, age 36, of Brooklyn, NY, was pronounced deceased on scene.
