Malone man arrested for Aggravated Family Offense after violating order of protection

PRESS RELEASE

 

Lagrange, New York – On December 20, 2017, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Keaghn D. Picaro, age 21, of Malone, NY, for Aggravated Family Offense, a class E felony, and Criminal Contempt in the 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Troopers received an order of protection violation complaint from the victim on November 21, 2017, who resided on Manchester Road in the town of Lagrange.  Investigation found that Picaro violated the valid and duly served order of protection after having a previous violation conviction in the past five years.

Picaro was arraigned before the town of Lagrange Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000.  Picaro is scheduled to reappear before the court on December 22, 2017, at 12:30 p.m.
