Fishkill, New York – On November 21, 2017, the New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Anthony J. Troopers were dispatched to the Extended Stay America Hotel on Merritt Blvd in the Town of Fishkill at approximately 10:20 PM, for a report of a male wanted for a domestic violence incident that occurred in Orange County.  On arrival to the scene Abbott identified himself, acknowledged that he knew he was wanted for family offenses committed in Orange County, and had possession of narcotics, but would not open the door.  Access was gained to the room and Abbott was taken into custody after a brief struggle.  Abbott was found to be in possession of Heroin, Cocaine, and Crack-Cocaine paraphernalia.

Abbott was arraigned before the Town of Fishkill Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail and $20,000 bond.  Abbott was next scheduled to appear before the Village of Fishkill Justice Court on November 22, at 9:00 AM.
