Obituary, Susan Wendy Robinson

 

Lake George/Greenwich – Born November 30, 1956, Susan Wendy Robinson lived a soulful life until her passing on November 15, 2017. Originally from Pine Plains, New York, Susan was pursuant of her dreams in the fine arts. Susan was a talented seamstress and crochet enthusiast.

Throughout her life she enjoyed hiking and skiing in the Adirondacks. Until finding her place as a loving homemaker, Susan attended Albany College of Pharmacy. She was a strong, passionate woman whose love of family and the arts will live on through her beautiful craftwork and handmade heirlooms.

Susan is survived by her two children, Liv and Tellef Thygesen; her grandchildren: Julianna, Esmeralda, Max and Cora; her parents, Pete and Helen Robinson; her housemate, Ian Rosenwald; her siblings: Herbert (Mei), Diane (Mark), Timothy (Jill) and James; her nieces and nephews: Genevieve, Warren, Cheyenne, William, and Leah; and her great-nephew, Owen.

Services will be held on November 25, 2017 at 80 Main St in Greenwich, NY. Calling hours are from 1pm-2pm, with memorial services beginning at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, we are encouraging donations to the Outpatient Behavioral Health Services at Glens Falls Hospital. We would also like to thank the staff at Glens Falls Hospital for their excellent care and coordination.
