Canaan, New York – On November 4, 2017, the New York State Police from the Livingston barracks arrested Amy L. Hill, age 38, of Berlin, NY, for twelve counts of Falsifying Business Records in the 1st Degree, and Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, all Class E Felonies.

Troopers were called to Love’s Gas Station on Route 22 in the Town of Canaan to a report of larceny on November 3, 2017, at approximately 3:45 PM.  An investigation found that Hill on multiple occasions fraudulently payed out winning lottery scratch off tickets to herself totaling approximately $1190.00.

Hill was arraigned before the Town of Canaan Justice Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $300 cash bail or $600 bond.
