Obituary, Christine Rose Tenk

 

 

Christine Rose Tenk of Gaylordsville, CT passed away Thursday November 2, 2017 with her family by her sided at the age of 59.

Christine was born on February 17th, 1958 in Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Domenic and Fannie (Nobile) Morelli.

She was a member of the first graduating class of New Fairfield High School 1976. Christine then attended the University of Bridgeport.  On May 7th, 1983 she married the love of her life Michael Tenk in Danbury CT.  They have lived in Gaylordsville since 1991.

Christine worked as a dental hygienist for Dr. Paul Esposito in Brookfield for the past 40 years.

Christine loved to cook and host family occasions.   Everything she did was a testament to her artistic flair and attention to detail.

Besides her husband Michael, she is survived by her son Domenic Tenk and daughter Emily Tenk of Gaylordsville. Joseph Froehlich of Brookfield, Emily’s significant other.  Her sisters, Donna Wabshinak and husband Greg of New Fairfield, Angela Benzinger and husband Pete of New Fairfield, Laura Taney and husband Marc of New Milford as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Monday November 6th, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. followed by a service at 8:00 p.m. at 58 Bridge Street, New Milford, CT.  Interment will be private.
