Obituary, Laura Galdiero

STORMVILLE – Laura Galdiero, 67, passed away on October 25, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on March 20, 1950 in Bisceglie, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Lucia (Rigante) Baldini. On April 18, 1970 at St. Patrick’s Church in Yorktown, Laura married Richard Galdiero who survives at home. She is also survived by her children, Lisa Cope and her husband Gary of Millerton, Laurie Traver and her husband Scott of Wappingers Falls, Lucille Abad and her husband Steve of Millerton, and Michael Galdiero and Shannon of Maybrook; her grandchildren, Zachary, Danielle, Kaitlyn, Dante, Diego, Garrett, Natalia, Hope, Michael, and Isabella; her siblings and their spouses, Toni and Ken Elliott, Leo and Sharon Baldini, and Mary and Bob Rosit; and many nieces and nephews.

Laura owned and operated Ritchie Amenia Deli for many years. She loved to cook for her family and friends. She will forever be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be especially missed by her family.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday at 2-6pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 10:30am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by entombment at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley.
