Chatham, NY man arrested for Felony DWI.

PRESS RELEASE

Chatham, NY – On October 25, 2017, at approximately 4:48 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-90, in the Town of Chatham for traffic violations. During the interview of the driver of the vehicle, Christopher L. Nooney, age 28, of Chatham, NY, he was found to be intoxicated. He was transported and processed at SP Albany. Additionally, he has a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years and as a result was subsequently charged with:

  • Driving While Intoxicated with a previous conviction within 10 years; a Class E Felony
  • Operating a Motor Vehicle with .08% or more of BAC with prior conviction within 10 years; a Class E Felony
  • Vehicle and Traffic Violations
Nooney was released on traffic tickets to a sober third party with a court date of November 8, 2017, at 4:00 p.m. in the Town of Chatham Court.
