Cortlandt, New York – On October 19, 2017 the New York State Police arrested Nelson Fernandez, age 33, of Buchanan, NY, for Forcible Touching, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both Class A Misdemeanors.

Troopers responded to a complaint of an unknown male fondling himself, then grabbing a child under the age of 17 on October 18, 2017 on 6th Street in the Verplanck area of Cortlandt.   Fernandez was located and arrested October 19, 2017.

Fernandez was arraigned before the City of Peekskill Justice Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
