This morning at 08:27 hours, Rhinebeck units along with NDP were dispatched to a reported head on auto accident on Route 9G. First arriving units found that while one car was stopped attempting to make a left turn, the second vehicle struck them from behind. One patient was transported to Northern Dutchess Hospital by Rhinebeck EMTs and the occupant of the other vehicle refused medical attention at the scene. 9G was closed for approximately 30 minutes for vehicle removal. Assisting on scene were the New York State Police and Rikerts Auto Body.
