BEEKMAN, N.Y. The Beekman Fire District is putting a $3.5 million bond up for a vote on December. 12th for a new training facility.
The fire district has been planning the facility for eight years and would be built on existing property on Green Haven Road.
An informational session for voters will be held on November 16th at 7 p.m. at the Beekman Fire House.
The new proposed facility will include a fire training tower to simulate a two-story home.
