SP Livingston – Fatal Accident Route 9G in the town of Germantown

The New York State Police and Germantown Fire Department are investigating a two-car fatal accident that occurred at 4PM just south of Palatine Park Road on State Route 9G in the Town of Germantown. The load of a commercial vehicle traveling northbound on State Route 9G was struck by a passenger car traveling southbound on State Route 9G. The operator of the southbound passenger car is subsequently deceased. State Route 9G, in the area of Palatine Park Road, will remain closed for an additional two hours. There is no further information at this time pending family notification.
