PRESS RELEASE

Pleasant Valley, New York – On September 26, 2017, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Timothy Rozelle, age 38, of Pine Plains, NY, for Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony, Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony, and Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Troopers received a report from a Town of Washington resident in August of 2017 of checks written from his bank account totaling approximately $13,345, which were determined to have been forged.  Investigation revealed Rozelle deposited and cashed multiple forged checks throughout multiple jurisdictions in Dutchess County.

Rozelle was arraigned before the Town of Pleasant Valley Justice Court on September 26, 2017, and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 property bond
